Finding ways to do great things

Pathways Success Fund

Pathways Success Fund is a micro-loan program for teenagers who complete a Pathways approved work program where they learn the hard skills and soft skills to be successful in a job. Once they "prove" themselves, we do not want them to be held back because they don't have money for proper tools, clothing, or equipment to launch. Applicants must be in good-standing with their program, have a Mentor in their program, and have two other peers in the program as references. They must discuss with a Pathways representative an affordable plan to repay the micro-loan based upon the job or work they plan to do—This pays forward to help others who need some funds to launch.

Career Success Factors

  • Team oriented: helpful, inclusive and engaged

  • Positive attitude

  • Calling out of work when sick so others know to cover their job

  • Reliable transportation/plan a and b
